Steve Jobes died. Our social visionary, computer genius and successful entrepreneur who founded Apple Computer, NeXT and Pixar, passed away yesterday at the young age of 56. He lived a long battle with pancreatic cancer.
After his first battle with cancer, Steve gave an inspiring speech at the June 2005 Graduation ceremony of Stanford University, in California, which we want to share with you today, in his honor.
Steve Jobs: How to live before you die.
Steve’s Speech at the June 2005 Graduation of Stanford University.
Steve Jobes, On Life & Death
Speech Highlights:
“Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on.”
“Don’t waste your life
by living someone else’s.
Follow your heart and intuition.
Everything else is secondary.
Stay hungry,
stay foolish.
