Geeks on the Way Recognized for CRM Implementation & User Adoption Program of the Year
LAS VEGAS–Geeks on the Way was named the winner of the CRM Implementation & User Adoption Program category in the third annual 2009 Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service.
“Winning a Stevie Award for Sales and Customer Service in the category of CRM Implementation & User Adoption Program of the year is an honor and a testament to our company’s commitment to providing our customers with exceptional service,” said John Leishman, chief executive officer at Geeks on the Way.
Geeks on the Way required a CRM solution that could be tightly integrated with their Asterisk PBX phone system, and selected SugarCRM for its open source architecture and flexibility. Customizations were made to SugarCRM’s meetings module, along with integration to Geeks on the Way’s ecommerce engine and PBX phone system. The work has resulted in reduced call handling times, more efficient routing and scheduling of field service agents, in addition to improved payroll execution.
SugarCRM’s industry winning commercial products deliver proven results to over 4,000 customers in 195 countries. SugarCRM’s software includes features that improve sales force automation, marketing automation, customer support and reporting processes enabling superior products at an affordable cost.
More than 500 entries from companies of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted to this year’s competition. There are 27 categories for customer service professionals, including Contact Center of the Year, Award for Innovation in Customer Service, and Customer Service Department of the Year; as well as 41 categories for sales professionals, ranging from Global Sales Leader of the Year to Sales Training Program of the Year to Sales Department of the Year.
Members of the Awards’ Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors and their staffs selected Stevie Award winners from among the finalists. Finalists were chosen by business professionals worldwide during preliminary judging.
“This year’s honorees demonstrate that even in challenging economic times, it’s possible for organizations to continue to shine in sales and customer service, the two most important functions in business: acquiring and keeping customers,” said Michael Gallagher, president of the Stevie Awards.
