Boomi and StrikeIron Partner to Accelerate SaaS Adoption by Enabling Seamless Integration of Web Services
Boomi, the market and technology leader for on-demand integration and StrikeIron, the leader in providing innovative solutions for delivering data over the Internet, today announced a partnership focused on driving Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) adoption by enabling seamless integration of StrikeIron’s Marketplace Web services into Boomi On Demand(SM). Boomi users can now integrate the full spectrum of business intelligence, CRM, e-commerce and financial solutions that StrikeIron offers with no additional coding required.
The StrikeIron Web Services Marketplace provides over 100 data services from leading technology suppliers including Cortera, D&B, Gale, MapQuest, Midnight Trader, Tax Data Systems, Wall Street Horizon, and Zacks. Using the Internet as a platform, StrikeIron supplies business users and enterprises with a single location for accessing quality data for seamless integration into any application, mashup platform, product or Web site.
“With Boomi’s rich functionality and true SaaS-based model, users can easily create custom solutions leveraging critical data, provided in the StrikeIron Marketplace, such as D&B or Gale business data or Cortera credit scores,” explained Bob Brauer, president and founder of StrikeIron. “This data can now be easily and securely integrated, using only a Web browser, with Boomi’s connections for NetSuite, Oracle E-Business Suite, Peachtree, Quick Books, Salesforce and SAP ERP.”
Boomi On Demand handles any combination of software-as-a-service (SaaS) and integration with most on premise applications. In addition, integration can be accomplished at a fraction of the cost of enterprise integration software. Once integration processes are built, they are deployed via a lightweight, dynamic runtime engine called an “AtomSM.” Built with patent pending technology, Boomi Atoms contain all the components required to execute an integration process from end-to-end including connectors, transformation rules, decision handling and processing logic. Boomi Atoms are completely self-contained and autonomous and can be run on virtually any server. They can be hosted for SaaS-to-SaaS integration or downloaded behind a company’s firewall for SaaS to on premise integration.
“Industry leaders like StrikeIron share in our SaaS vision and seek to drive SaaS adoption by providing leading technologies that power the SaaS ecosystem,” said Boomi CEO Bob Moul. “This is a natural combination of leading SaaS technologies for data and integration services. Users gain an incredibly intuitive yet powerful integration platform in Boomi On Demand and Boomi customers gain access to a broad range of StrikeIron web services that will expand and enhance their experience.”
