Halifax, Nova Scotia — Salesboom.com, leading vendor of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) CRM and ERP Solutions, today announced the implementation of their Entellium Rescue Initiative. On Friday October 3, 2008, the 8 year old Entellium laid off all but a handful of its employees who were told Entellium had run out of money. On Tuesday October 7, 2008, Entellium’s CEO and Financial Officer were arrested on counts wire fraud for allegedly inflating sales figures. With the future of Entellium in question there are many organizations whose data and business may be at risk. Salesboom.com’s Entellium Rescue Initiative offers current Entellium customers a safe haven during these rocky times by offering accelerated data migration services at no cost.
Salesboom.com has been providing Web Based CRM Software for six years and has been growing steadily, positioning Salesboom.com as a clear choice for those Entellium clients looking to migrate to a stable and fully functional CRM Platform.
The Entellium Rescue Initiative was promptly implemented in response to a sudden influx of Entellium customers who had made the move to Salesboom.com. In order to accomplish a swift and secure migration, Salesboom.com is offering free data migration and has extended our Magic Migration Button to apply to Entellium’s database, workflow and customizations.
In addition to the Entellium Rescue Initiative Salesboom.com is also showing interest in purchasing Entellium’s Customer Base which could benefit both organizations, resulting in a growth of market share for Salesboom.com and a stable future for Entellium customers.
“We are pleased to offer our Entellium Rescue Initiative to all Entellium customers who feel their data may be at risk throughout the events to come. We want to make it as easy as possible for organizations to make a smooth and risk free transition to Salesboom.com to ensure their business is uninterrupted due to these unfortunate events.” said Troy Muise, Co-Founder and CEO of Salesboom.com. “Salesboom.com is the obvious choice for Ex-Entellium customers since we take great care in servicing small and medium sized businesses which makes up the majority of Entellium’s client base. We are also considering the purchase of Entellium’s Book of Business.”
With the future of Entellium in danger after the sharp decline in staff from over 190 only one year ago to now a fraction of this, Salesboom.com invites Entellium Staff who have been affected by the recent mass layoffs to submit their information at http://www.salesboom.com/employment/CRM-Employment-Postings.html to help Salesboom.com manage our impressive growth. Got something to say?

It is good to see CRM vendors like Salesboom attempting to make the transition to a new platform from Entellium a simple worry free process. These businesses have enough to worry about since the company they trusted their data to is in the middle of basically the worst possible situation. I would be moving my data out of there as fast as possible and welcoming offers to make it simple.
@Josh - yes, all data, no matter what program it is, should be 100% exportable. Even exporting to Outlook is better than losing all your data.
