California Based Biopharmaceutical Company Deployed a Compliant CRM Solution in Three Weeks
SAN RAMON, Calif.–OutSystems announces that Hyperion Therapeutics, Inc. deployed the OutSystems CRM Solution in three weeks to manage all company interaction with customers, including institutions and the clinicians’ community.
Once Hyperion announced their series B financing and co-promotion agreement for AMMONUL® (sodium phenylacetate and sodium benzoate) Injection 10%/10% and BUPHENYL® (sodium phenylbutyrate), they only had a few weeks to launch their sales effort and get a CRM solution in place to support the commercial team. Hyperion needed a CRM solution that could insure compliance with the applicable government regulations, was easy to use, was customizable, and could be in place before the sales kick-off. After evaluating the available options, Hyperion chose the OutSystems CRM solution.

In just three weeks, Hyperion deployed the OutSystems CRM solution to manage all company interaction with the institutions and the clinicians’ community. The solution’s main features include data management, approval workflows for information change, email notifications, event registration, and contact management, among others.
One of the critical aspects to consider when deploying a CRM solution is ease of use. At Hyperion Therapeutics, most users are geographically dispersed sales representatives, who are extremely focused on their core activity, and have little time for administrative tasks and training. Creating intuitive interfaces and the right set of features was a key requirement to achieve a high adoption level.
