NetSuite Launches CRM+

CRM+ uses a number of Ajax-built features that streamline business processes through more drop-down windows and drag-and-drop functionality.
NetSuite has launched a version of its customer relationship management software with more advanced user interface features. The new CRM+ incorporates Web 2.0 technology to simplify a number of business processes.
The latest offering is in addition to NetSuite’s regular CRM-as-a-service product and the vendor’s full suite of hosted software, which includes financial applications.
CRM+ uses a number of Ajax-built features that streamline business processes through more drop-down windows and drag-and-drop functionality. Ajax, which stands for asynchronous JavaScript and XML, is a group of integrated Web development techniques used for creating interactive Web applications that behave like software running natively on the desktop.
The new technology in CRM+, for example, streamlines the marketing process by enabling people to create, upload and generate a campaign without moving to different locations in the system, according to NetSuite.
The portion of CRM+ for customer service agents has also been streamlined. Service reps can conduct searches from the electronic case form they call up while servicing customers. In addition, they can take information from the case form to track different versions of a product. This feature is important because customers often have older versions of products.
In addition, CRM+ is browser independent, so customers can use Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Apple Safari.
The Ajax-related capabilities of CRM+ are available now. The multi-browser support is scheduled for August. Pricing for CRM+, which was unveiled last week, is $129 per user per month.
