@Michael - You raise a few solid points.

Infusionsoft used to use their own software for Affiliates, but has since "outgrown" the system, and therefore now use Commission Junction.

I was shocked to see this.. what does it say about their own product?

Interesting to read what's written above. Perhaps you'd like to clue us in as to the level of discount you were afforded by Infusionsoft to write this.

Having set up their package as well as worked with 1shoppingcart for a number of years, I can tell you the two are like night and day.

The ONLY thing recommending Infusionsoft above 1SC until recently was email scheduling. Not any longer. 1SC has implemented this. Not only that there are many ways to do it.

Another thing you can do with 1SC that you cannot with Infusionsoft is that they've actually done research into marketing and designed language for use instantly that does not turn the user off when they receive an email from the system.

The sad thing about Infusionsoft is that they're blasting their brand out everywhere in every communication that you send out through their system (a bit of a desperate move) and charging you a fee if you want this removed.

When was the last time you tried to exceed 500K customers in an Infusionsoft account? Can't be done. They create a new one for you so instantly there's a disconnect in your business process. 1SC can scale to 1.5 million in a single account AND they offer a dedicated server program for clients. Not only does Infusionsoft NOT offer this, their people when presented with the opportunity to bid into such a circumstance did not even offer the courtesy of a phone call once they found out that 1SC was involved in the process.

I had a direct call with the CEO regarding their affiliate program and he admitted that it was not up to par. They were working on it, but what happened was they were getting slammed on pricing by 1SC so they dropped all their pricing to compete. However, what they did not do was release the limit on users, you only get 2. 1SC can allow multiple users, no restrictions on emailing and no pervasive 1SC branding in their autoresponder messages.

1SC does not pay me to say these things. I've used their product for the past 7 years and LOVE it. I've watched it grow, I've been with it through good and bad and now I am happy to see where they've gotten to.

If you're serious about using a solid platform and you don't want to kiss customers goodbye because your followup sequence of emails was written by a 3yr old...then get into 1ShoppingCart or better yet go to:

http://docmurdock.com/shoppingcart.htm and sign up for the private label that we use and we'll train you and your people how to use it via webinars and we'll help on the support side of things as well.
