Conjungo – Helping IT buyers Understand ERP, CRM, and VoIP

Conjungo, the UK’s largest independent technology information resource and search engine of technology providers, has launched three new “Go Understand” websites to help small business users understand technologies and then select the right providers for their business.
“Technologies such as VoIP, ERP and CRM has been a de-facto requirement for larger enterprises for over a decade but as licensing costs for the software has declined over the last few years, adoption by SMB’s has risen dramatically,” comments David Cruse, CEO, Conjungo. “For many small business users, it is difficult to get independent advice and to understand what these technologies mean in business terms. Our new guides provide a useful resource, written in clear English, to help buyers find the best solution without bias towards any particular vendor or service.”
The new resources offer a comprehensive guide to both the technology underpinning each area as well as key business benefits and implementation considerations. The guides also provide disadvantages and potential pitfalls as well advice for conducting a tender and evaluating various vendors and products.
These “easily digestible guides” cover basic concepts such as hosted versus onsite deployment, steps required for integration as well as explanations of the various modules that make up modern ERP and CRM systems. “If our users want additional help, they can quickly find local suppliers with specialisations in a wide range of business sectors within the Conjungo search engine,” Cruse adds.
Conjungo maintains a searchable database of VoIP, ERP and CRM focused ICT suppliers from vendors including Mamut, Swyx, TeleWare, Gamma Telecom and BT Local Business.
Jeff Greenleaf, Managing Director for Surrey Envelopes, part of Groupe Hamelin one of Europe’s top three envelope manufacturers commented, “We used Conjungo in a recent project to find a list of suitable ERP suppliers as we were replacing our aging ERP System. Our need was to source ERP suppliers capable of delivering a solution that took in 50 sites across 25 countries and Conjungo significantly reduced the time it would have taken us to find a supplier as well as helping us to generate the right procedures for assessing suppliers suitability to the task.”
Conjungo will also be carrying out an email shot throughout January to 250,000 small businesses in the UK to highlight the availability of the guides and to raise awareness of the free resources on the site aimed at helping SMB’s address ICT procurement.
