@Kurt - If Outlook is the primary means of email and communication, then Avidan Prophet appears to be the front leader in choosing a CRM.

Then again, so many on-demand CRM vendors are now providing Outlook plug-ins and integration. It will be a matter of time until they catch up.

@Kurt - When this Blog started in late October 2007, we had an open call for writers to submit articles in the area of CRM or Service Desk (Help Desk) software.

We have corrected the entry at the beginning of the credits to reflect that Jose is a guest blogger and has no affiliation to this site.

Thanks for pointing it out.

Who is Jose Vanegas? His only web presence seems to be to promote the Prophet CRM -- he's got a lot of very similar articles that do that all over the place. And the articles all seem to be written by the same marketing committee. I think he might be just a shill for Avidian. If he were real, it seems he would have other things to say, other products to review, other topics to comment on. He would probably also be subtly promoting himself in some way. Jose also doesn't seem to have a single bad thing to say about the software or anything about his favorite or least favorite features. In short, Jose Vanegas doesn't seem like a real person and if he isn't, shame on Avidian for such crass publicity. I'm a consultant doing research on CRM's and I'm actually leaning towards Prophet for this particular customer, and I would really like to find someones truly unbiased opinions and someone's list of pros and cons or tips about implementation.
